The National Association of Realtors (NAR) officially introduced its new leadership team for 2024 during the NAR NXT annual conference in Anaheim, California, last week.

Tracy Kasper was sworn in as the new president during the event, taking on the role earlier than expected in August 2023 after the resignation of former president Kenny Parcell. Parcell, a Realtor from Utah, stepped down following allegations of sexual harassment published by the New York Times.

Kasper, the owner/broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Silverhawk Realty in Nampa, Idaho, has been on NAR’s board of directors since 2016 and previously served as the president of the Idaho Association of Realtors.

NAR also officially included Kevin Sears as its president-elect for 2024. Sears, a broker/partner at Sears Real Estate in Springfield, Massachusetts, previously held roles as NAR’s vice president of government affairs in 2017 and president of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors in 2010.

Completing the leadership trio, Kevin Brown takes on the role of NAR’s first vice president for 2024. Brown, the broker/owner of Better Homes Realty & Brown Commercial Investment Real Estate Services in Oakland, California, served as the president of the California Assocfiation of Realtors in 2014 and has been on NAR’s board of directors since 2011. NAR’s new leadership team also find three more officials – Gregory Hrabcak, Erik Sain, and Nate Johnson, who were sworn in as treasurer, vice president of association affairs, and president of advocacy, respectively.
